If you haven’t heard of ‘BA’, meaning ‘aBroad Arrived’, then you’re in for a treat! Watch the film - Pardon The French, and discover the story behind it.

Passport to Heer’s Heart is a unique blend of electronic beats and jazzy brushes featuring the soulful vocals of Punjabi folk singers. As the songwriter, I put a modern spin on the legendary love story of Heer and Ranjha, showcasing how Heer’s Love has become transactional in today’s world. In this version, Heer is on the lookout for a wealthy suitor living abroad, dismissing any potential groom named Ranjha without a second thought. It starkly contrasts Shakespeare’s Sonnet: Let me not to the marriage of true minds. Which has stuck in my head since I read as a kid - The true Love as an “ever-fixed mark” and “looks on tempests and is never shaken.

Wherefore art thou, the love that Bard doth speak of?” 🤔
